Tribute to George Floyd

I cant 'breath.

the air I breathe bothers you. the same air that Floyd was forbidden to breathe. What they show me. What they tell me.

I cant 'breath. It suffocates me the space to which I would have a right and the right to which I do not know what it is.

I am terrified of counting the hours. Counting honors. The clothes I wear.

The visa, the verdict of violence, indifference, hunger, inequality, racism.

The difference is what makes the difference because the difference is not disability.

I'm afraid! Fear of an animal called

man!

Mourning is not just about Floyd. The mourning is for all of us!

But there is hope in the lesson of his daughter's words, as a child: My Father Changed the World!   If we are all floyd! And what do we intend to change?

Eu não posso respirar.

incomoda-me o ar que respiro. o mesmo ar que Floyd foi proibido de respirar. O que me mostram. O que me dizem.

Eu não posso respirar. Sufoca-me o espaço a que teria direito e o direito que não sei qual é.

Apavora-me a contagem das horas. A contagem das honras. As roupas que visto.

O visto, o veredictum da violência, da indiferença, da fome,  da desigualdade, do racismo.

A diferença é que faz a diferença porque a diferença não é deficiência.

Tenho medo! Medo de um animal chamado HOMEM!

O luto não é só por Floyd. O luto é por todos nós!

Mas surge uma esperança na lição das palavras de sua filha, ainda criança: Meu Pai Mudou o Mundo! Se todos nós somos FLOYD! E nós, o que pretendemos mudar?

l'air que je respire vous dérange. le même air que Floyd était interdit de respirer. Ce qu'ils me montrent. Ce qu'ils me disent.

Je ne peux pas respirer. Cela m'étouffe l'espace auquel j'aurais droit et le droit auquel je ne sais pas ce que c'est.

Je suis terrifiée de compter les heures. Compter les honneurs. Les vêtements que je porte.

Le visa, le verdict de violence, l'indifférence, la faim, l'inégalité, le racisme.

La différence est ce qui fait la différence parce que la différence n'est pas le handicap.

J'ai peur! Peur d'un animal appelé MAN!

Le deuil ne concerne pas seulement Floyd. Le deuil est pour nous tous!

Mais il y a de l'espoir dans la leçon des paroles de sa fille, enfant: Mon père a changé le monde! Si nous sommes tous FLOYD! Et qu'entendons-nous changer?

El aire que respiro me molesta. el mismo aire que a Floyd se le prohibió respirar. Lo que me muestran Lo que me cuentan

No puedo respirar. Me sofoca el espacio al que tendría derecho y el derecho al que no sé de qué se trata.

Me aterra contar las horas. Contando honores. La ropa que uso.

La visa, el veredicto de violencia, indiferencia, hambre, desigualdad, racismo.

La diferencia es lo que hace la diferencia porque la diferencia no es la discapacidad.

¡Tengo miedo! ¡Miedo a un animal llamado HOMBRE!

El duelo no se trata solo de Floyd. ¡El luto es para todos nosotros!

Pero hay esperanza en la lección de las palabras de su hija, cuando era niño: ¡Mi padre cambió el mundo! ¡Si todos somos FLOYD! ¿Y qué pretendemos cambiar?

Non riesco a respirare. Mi soffoca lo spazio a cui avrei diritto e il diritto a cui non so cosa sia.

Sono terrorizzato a contare le ore. Conteggio degli onori. I vestiti che indosso.

Il visto, il verdetto di violenza, indifferenza, fame, disuguaglianza, razzismo.

La differenza è ciò che fa la differenza perché la differenza non è la disabilità.

Ho paura! Paura di un animale chiamato MAN!

Il lutto non riguarda solo Floyd. Il lutto è per tutti noi!

Ma c'è speranza nella lezione delle parole di sua figlia, da bambino: Mio Padre ha cambiato il mondo! Se siamo tutti FLOYD! E cosa intendiamo cambiare?

Die Luft, die ich atme, stört mich. die gleiche Luft, die Floyd nicht atmen durfte. Was sie mir zeigen. Was sie mir sagen.

Ich kann nicht atmen. Es erstickt mich an dem Raum, auf den ich ein Recht hätte, und an dem ich nicht weiß, was es ist.

Ich habe Angst, die Stunden zu zählen. Ehrungen zählen. Die Kleidung, die ich trage.

Das Visum, das Urteil über Gewalt, Gleichgültigkeit, Hunger, Ungleichheit, Rassismus.

Der Unterschied macht den Unterschied aus, denn der Unterschied ist keine Behinderung.

Ich fürchte! Angst vor einem Tier namens MAN!

Bei Trauer geht es nicht nur um Floyd. Die Trauer ist für uns alle!

Aber es gibt Hoffnung in der Lektion der Worte seiner Tochter als Kind: Mein Vater hat die Welt verändert! Wenn wir alle FLOYD sind! Und was wollen wir ändern?

TRIBUTO A GEORGE FLOYD

Este tributo manifesta  veemente repúdio ao fato inconcebível e inaceitável do assassinato do Cidadão Norte-Americano George Floyd, fruto da INTOLERÂNCIA, VIOLÊNCIA, RACISMO, INSENSIBILIDADE, INSENSATEZ E DA DISCRIMINAÇÃO que, silenciosamente, se incrustam nas culturas humanas de todos os países.

 repudiamos todos os atos de barbárie, em pleno século XXI, como flagrante violação dos Direitos Humanos, consagrados, a partir da Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos, em todas as Cartas Magnas das Civilizações de países Democráticos.

A Constituição dos Estados Unidos da América, na Emenda XIV de 1868, na Seção 1, assevera que:

This tribute expresses vehemently repudiation of the inconceivable and unacceptable fact of the murder of the American Citizen George Floyd, fruit of INTOLERANCE, VIOLENCE, RACISM, INSENSIBILITY, INSENSITY AND DISCRIMINATION that, silently, are embedded in the human cultures of all countries.

 we reject all acts of barbarism, in the middle of the 21st century, as a flagrant violation of Human Rights, enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in all the Charts of Civilizations in Democratic countries.

The Constitution of the United States of America, in Amendment XIV of 1868, in Section 1, states that:

Todas as pessoas nascidas ou naturalizadas nos Estados Unidos e sujeitas a sua jurisdição são cidadãos dos Estados Unidos e do Estado onde tiver residência, Nenhum Estado poderá fazer ou executar leis restringindo os privilégios ou as imunidades dos cidadãos dos Estados Unidos; nem poderá privar qualquer pessoa de sua vida, liberdade, ou bens sem processo legal, ou negar a qualquer pessoa sob sua jurisdição a igual proteção das leis. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to their jurisdiction are citizens of the United States and of the State in which they reside, No State may make or enforce laws restricting the privileges or immunities of United States citizens; nor can it deprive any person of his life, liberty, or property without legal process, or deny to any person under his jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. (Emphasis added).

Diz a Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos em seu preâmbulo e no Art. III:

Considerando que o reconhecimento da dignidade inerente a todos os membros da família humana e de seus direitos iguais e inalienáveis é o fundamento da liberdade, da justiça e da paz no mundo.

Todo ser humano tem direito à vida, à liberdade e à segurança pessoal.

Considering that the recognition of the inherent dignity of all members of the human family and of their equal and inalienable rights is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world.

Article III

Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.

A Carta Magna brasileira corrobora princípios universais, dizendo que:

Art. 5º Todos são iguais perante a lei, sem distinção de qualquer natureza, garantindo-se aos brasileiros e aos estrangeiros residentes no País a inviolabilidade do direito à vida, à liberdade, à igualdade, à segurança e à propriedade, nos termos seguintes:[.....]

The Brazilian Magna Carta corroborates universal principles, saying that:

Art. 5 All are equal before the law, without distinction of any kind, guaranteeing to Brazilians and foreigners residing in the country the inviolability of the right to life, freedom, equality, security and property, under the following terms: [.....]

No Brasil, estes  fatos são diários. Silenciosamente, morrem cidadãos pela violência, pela intolerância, pela fome, pelo desemprego, pela ausência do Estado, pela falta de  assistência à saúde, pela pobreza e miséria, pela baixa qualidade da educação e baixa condições de acesso à educação, pelo preconceito racial e social, desigualdade e em razão da corrupção dos representantes do poder do povo em todos os níveis.

George Floyd representa a somatização de todos estas inaceitáveis condições socioeconômicas e políticas. FROID  explica, mas não explica FLOYD.

In Brazil, these facts are daily. Quietly, citizens die from violence, intolerance, hunger, unemployment, the absence of the State, the lack of health care, poverty and misery, the low quality of education and low access to education, racial prejudice and inequality and because of the corruption of representatives of the people at all levels.

George Floyd represents the summation of all these unacceptable socioeconomic and political conditions. FROID explains, but does not explain FLOYD..
