BRAZIL'S STOLEN FUTURE II Brazil's situation as a nation is grave, but even more grave are the actions of those tasked with defending the country and who have plundered all its prospects for a future that has been clamored for centuries by the common people, the majority used as an instrument to ratify inequality, welfare, populism, unemployment, lack of education, absolute lack of healthcare, neglected public policies, and the illusion of a free vote, exchanged for crumbs that momentarily alleviate misery, hunger, and poverty. It is this minority, allied with some so-called representatives of the people, under the control of organized crime, the judicial system, and corruption that attempts to crush democratic values, speaking of a supposed democracy, Christian values, speaking of a God who is their interests, speaking of justice that fuels the illusion that "all are equal before the law." The law usurped for the sake of power and privilege. Brazil's future was stolen from the moment a power plot undermined democracy, the hope, and the belief of good Brazilians who dreamed of a great nation, but which has become a vast prison where they live, condemned by corrupt individuals who judge the innocent through subtle mechanisms of denial of their civil, political, and social rights. The imprisonment of the innocent, the trial of President Bolsonaro, will be the seeds that will multiply the free spirit of Brazilians in defense of their dream homeland. The global shame of a people, where its representatives, who should put the country's future above their own interests and their desire for revenge, are now exiled. We applaud President Trump's (USA) stance on stopping this crime against the Brazilian people, which is being unscrupulously used to legitimize the illegitimate. We've already seen land invasions and destruction of public property, all in the name of democracy. The greatest betrayal is the supremacy of group interests over the interests of the country. The democratic world needs to save Brazil!
